Double Dry Hopped IPA // Motu Ihupuku
When Western Herd brewery told us that they were brewing with the very-hard-to-get Nectaron hops we started to build a story around their efforts. Nectaron hops originate from New Zealand and just off the coast is the island of Motu Ihupuku - the antipodean point on the globe to their brewery.
Hence the pacific scene illustrated on pack to accompany this quirky little story.

If Western Herd started digging downwards from their brewery they’d more or less end up breaching the surface of Motu Ihupuku, an island off the south of New Zealand on the opposite side of the world.
It shows just how much digging around they’ve done to find Nectaron; a brand new hop to the market. You could say they went to the ends of the earth to get this summer beer just right.
